I have an old car that I do not want to upgrade the stereo program. The tape player conked out and there is no CD player. So this is the only way I have left to port MP3 to the stereo.
Pros:
- Uncomplicated set-up with lots of possible channel to use. I just use the lowest frequency. My rear trunk vehicle antenna picks up the signal fine.
- 3 approaches to port the music (line in, USB, SC card) in case if 1 of the port fails.
- Mini plug - functions with any MP3 players. Don't loose the mini to 1/eight cable that comes with the transmitter.
- SD - Operates with SDHC so you can have tons of music.
- USB - Functions with thumb drives. But as other have located out, the connection will put on down and could possibly not be as dependable as the card reader.
- Operates with IPOD. Will play and quick forward making use of the transmitter control.
- Will charge your IPOD and Cell telephone by means of the USB.
- Display name of song and support file directories.
Cons:
- Could not get my Samsung Cell to play via through the transmitter. But other phones might possibly perform.
- Will not operate or charge an IPAD 2 though the USB.
- There is a smaller interference/back ground noise when playing my IPOD (possibly my IPOD was also old).

I've been waiting for a long time for this item to come along...and Bestek has finally performed it! I love being able to put hundreds (or thousands) of songs onto a USB flash drive (memory stick) and conveniently listen to all that music in my vehicle. Having a remote to control every little thing is the icing on the cake! Bestek has created a extremely decent item that tends to make listening to your complete music collection rather handy and very easy. The price was incredibly reasonable and the shipping was quick.
