Buyer Evaluations

I purchased this product for my Firestone Air Bags and installed on my F250. The compressor is handy but it does need the frame mounting bracket unless you like drilling lot of hole in frame. The wires are just long adequate to run to the battery from below the driver side door. If you place it back further you need extra wire.
Install instructions ok, but operating instructions horrible. The 3 pre-sets are set at five, 20 and 40 psi and are not changeable.
The genuine difficulties with this kit are the pressure is not appropriate and it does not at all times reach the set pressure before the system times out and stops adjusting. A reading on the screen of five psi, is basically 16 psi in air bag supplying a horribly stiff ride which my truck skips about turns with no load in bed. I have to manually let out air so air bags are 5 psi due to the fact as a safety precaution, the laptop or computer will not let you lower the air beneath 5 psi.
I have contacted Firestone about this issue twice but they will not respond to my e-mail and considering that this division is in the UK I have no other way to speak to them. And just in case this could have been a fluke, my buddy has the very same technique now and it works exactly the exact same way.
