Consumer Evaluations

Pyle tends to make good monitors. What the PLHR79 and their other monitors offers the user in video good quality for the size can't be beat for the value.
I purchased two of the PLHR79 units by means of amazon.com simply because the description included the comment "AV Input."
The unit has two Video Inputs, but NO AUDIO INPUT.
I picture the PLHR79 would be good for a video only security camera input or for a back-up monitor for a Motor Coach or a Bus.
Craftsmanship is high as is all of the Pyle units I've seen. With my hobbies I've decided to keep the two PLHR79 units.
For my original desires I ended up buying two Haier HLT71 7-Inch Handheld LCD Tv units with AV inputs. The added bonus is that the HLT71 is also a Tv with an ATSC tuner. :)
Absolutely nothing negative to say about the Pyle monitor, it is the listed specs that were incorrect.

Mounted this Television in the wall to use as a camera monitor for the front door. Worked perfectly. It does, nonetheless need a 12V power supply that is not included.
