I am going to give this 4 stars only due to the fact I've not employed it sufficient to pull some of the 20 to 30 ft logs around my property to seriously test its durablility.
Particularly handy tho to keep you outa harms way when pulling downed trees, if cable snaps? You can stand behind your pull.Have not necessary to pull ATV out of mud yet but thats coming someday.Other issue is I have some pals that can't reach the handlebar switch on their Quads when reaching in front to pull cable in or out.Handy for short arms and folks. Especially simple and easy to install if your somewhat mechanically inclined. Directions had been somewhat painless with illustrations for assy.Wires to your existing relay switch. Only anoying thing is your instruction book has every other launguage japan,germany,french,mexican, you have to fumble thru.
Sorry I reside in American. Anyway for uncomplicated piece of mind I would get it

Wonderful little remote to operate my Warn winch. Has a built in activation requirement to turn on this remote to help stop accidental winch operation followed up with an auto off to save on battery life. The install directions may well be a bit out dated for my winch. The kit supplied a wire I was to install on the winch soon after removing the winch cover. This would need me to cut all the winch labeling to eliminate the cover. Count the number of pins on the winch plug and compare to the install directions. My winch was pre-wired at the factory and did not need this modification.
