Customer Evaluations

I purchased this unit for my wifes Pontiac G6, this should be installed professionally or a incredibly very good skilled installer. The metra double dash kit will operate but it has to be altered with a rotary tool since this is an oversized double din unit, the less expensive 2pc double din dash kits will not fit. Overall this is a featured pack sleak device and for the funds you can not go wrong. I want to make it clear its not a JVC (most effective detachable face unit) but its also half the price tag of a JVC with similar functions.....I would know because I have a JVC double din detachable face unit in my automobile. The music sound of the unit is incredibly great. Bluetooth functions perfectly improved than my JVC 840....
Although the attributes do not indicate this, head unit will stream music from your bluetooth phone as well.

I have purchased numerous points by Amazon, and this is quite possibly the first time do not like one thing. I can say I expected more from BOSS and this item.
Pros
The DVD-radio has functions which function fine, for example the Bluetooth, Aux, Radio, DVD and USB.
Cons
The Grafical User interface(GUI) does not look that good, at least in comparation to the Pioneer Radios.
The Radio did not fit the 2 DIM perfectly in my auto(Toyota Corolla 2004), so a lot of additional work had to be performed and at the finish it did not appear great in my Dash. Considering that of this, the screen is not readily detachable.
When the front lights of the automobile are on the radio just does not work at all, it shows a blue screen, and not only the DVD, but also the other attributes are not available. This just sucks.
Getting sincere, I would not have purchased this item, if I had known all the mentioned problems, even though it is cheaper then other brands. I wish Amazon had shown videos or pictures of this item working on a actual vehicle. I am in fact thinking about returning this item. So, if you can afford it, acquire a better Radio.
