Buyer Critiques

I bought this unit to replace a Kenwood KDC-MP425 which served me well, but ultimately stopped ejecting CD's. Anyway when this one particular does not have the flashy graphics of the Kenwood unit it undoubtedly outperforms it in function.
This unit let's you fast forward and rewind via MP3 CD's immediately. ID3 tags are read and the Aux input will be valuable for when my good friends with Ipods. Sound high quality is really decent, but I did not understand till installing that this unit only has one particular set of RCA outputs if you happen to be going to hook it up to a 4 channel amp. The remote is a nice small bonus, as I had to obtain my last 1 separately.
It was this or a unit with GPS built in for $200 alot more. I'm glad I went with this one and held onto my money during these difficult economic occasions.

What a great AM/FM CD Player, and for $69.00. I needed a new AM/FM CD Player in the Freightliner Columbia I drive, for the reason that the stock Panasonic AM/FM CD Player's CD player quit working, and the FM reception wasn't incredibly fantastic. The only factor that bugs me is the directions on the manual for setting the clock and other functions aren't explained really clearly, but after trial and error I figured it out. To adjust the clock and other functions you will need to push MODE, then push and hold SEL, then just after functions come up on the readout click the forward or reverse nob to go to the function you want to alter, then use the volume knob to change that function. This is an remarkable option for Radio/CD player. If I was a billionaire I'd nonetheless purchase it.
