Whilst the vehicle alarm/remote start technique works nicely, I have had absolutely nothing but a bad encounter from this remote.
Cons:
-The remote battery life is around two-3 months...have entertaining changing the batteries.
-I constantly locate the remote accidentally activating some thing mainly because the keys press tremendously simply against my automobile important...the only other key on my keychain.
Pros:
-The remote does have a function that disables the two-way communication and saves battery life
Recommendations:
-The Viper developer desires to make some sort of case cover for this remote to stop it from accidentally unlocking or starting the vehicle.

I've been employing this remote for the past two years and adore it. The only issue (which others have mentioned) is the sensitivity of the buttons. BUT, if you READ THE MANUAL you will discover that you can lock the buttons so you don't accidentally get started you vehicle when you do not want to, among other issues if you have additional modules installed.
My only complaint is the battery life is pretty low, around three - 5 months. I ended up buying 30 of the CR2016 batteries on amazon for about $five and still have about 20 or so left more than. (Uses two batteries at a time)
